It is important your vehicle meet the hauling criteria for your motorcycle.
To calculate the requirements for your motorcycle, add the weight of the carrier to your motorcycle, then multiply that number by 10 to factor in tongue capacity. Follow this example to calculate the minimum required towing capacity for hauling a 250 lb. dirt bike with an G3 carrier. 250 lbs. (Motorcycle) + 60 lbs. (Carrier)=310 lbs. 310 lbs. (Net Weight) x 10=3,100 lbs. (Minimum Required Towing Capacity)

Additional Examples:
300 lb. scooter=3,600 lbs. minimum required towing capacity for the vehicle.
400 lb. motorcycle=4,600 lbs. minimum required towing capacity for the vehicle.
